Service Description
Peer-to-Peer-Support for Parents Info Sessions to Equip and Empower Tips | Tools | Training Members have the opportunity to learn and grow together, to connect with other parents, to ask questions and support each other, with a focus on homeschooling with neurodiversity. This can sometimes be a lonely road and quite isolating; finding your neuro-tribe may provide you with new insights, perspectives and energy for the way forward :) This parent support group will be facilitated by Hanlie Wentzel, who is a homeschool mom of neurodivergent kids herself, a qualified Social Worker, Art Therapies Counselor, registered Wellness Counselor and the owner of Eunoia Neuro-Spicy Wellness. Together we are stronger! My aim is to create a safe space for you, so it will be low demand and there will be absolutely no pressure to share if you are not ready or comfortable, you are also welcome to just observe and absorb. I will send out info before the session to help you gather your thoughts and formulate your questions (if you have any), depending on the topic of discussion. What to expect? - 5 min Meet & Greet - 15 min training on various relevant topics (Psycho-Education & Homeschool Coaching & Neuro-Spicy Wellness for Neurodivergent Families) - 20 min Q&A Who may join? - Everyone is welcome! Just join us and subscribe to become a member, it is FREE :) - Join our Parents Group to receive info and updates on upcoming sessions. - The focus will be on parents homeschooling their own neurodivergent kids, but any other family members are welcome too. - Parents homeschooling their own neurodivergent child/-ren or your child may have a tutor or be enrolled at a cottage school.
