Service Description

*Neuro-Spicy is a fun way to say Neurodiverse or describe the Neurodivergent Community. I offer Wellness Counselling to neurodivergent teens and adults, especially autistic women; a safe space in which to explore and understand their neuro-type and living and thriving as a neurodivergent person in a predominantly neurotypical world. My approach is strength-based and neurodivergent-affirming; I aim to encourage, empower and equip neuro-spicy people to embrace their authentic selves and to hear, validate and follow their own inner guidance. I prioritize family-centered care and recognize the importance of meeting the individual needs of each family member to promote wellness. I embrace diversity in all its forms, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, people from different cultures and races, those with disabilities, and those with different neurotypes and genders. I believe that by fostering an accepting and inclusive environment that values our differences, we can create safe places for our children and our families that benefits us all. Qualifications: - Registered Wellness Counsellor, ASCHP reg. no. WC24/9022 - Qualified Social Worker: BA (Honors) Degree in Social Work, US 1996.
