Service Description

All of us may need some guidance from others that have gone before, that know the pitfalls and can help us to avoid them – you absolutely do not have to reinvent the wheel. Let me help you to the gain the knowledge and the skills that you need to homeschool your children successfully. I passionately believe in transferring knowledge and skills to empower parents to home educate their children with CONFIDENCE, HOPE and PEACE. We all had to start at the beginning – you are not alone! I offer additional Ecometric Assessments that will help to give you a clear picture of what Homeschool Approach, Curricula options, Service Providers and School Exit (CAPS NSC/IEB, Cambridge, GED or American High School Diploma) will be the best fit for your unique child. For example, your child’s Personality Profile, Career Aptitude, Learning Styles, Neurodiversity (Autism/ ADHD/ Dyslexia/ Sensory Processing issues/ a Gifted Child, etc.). A consultation will focus on whatever your needs are regarding homeschooling & the support you need. After your 1st consultation you will also receive a comprehensive “How to Homeschool Handbook”. This is usually followed up by a 2nd session, see the "Curriculum Screening" where we workshop your needs, options and curriculum choices together, to find the best fit for your child. For older kids (gr. 9-12), I recommend the "Subjects Picker". DIFFERENT HOMESCHOOL SERVICES AVAILABLE: 1. Homeschool Coaching ZAR 500 (1 h) 2. Curriculum Screening ZAR 850 (1 h 30 min) 3. Subjects Picker ZAR 1,500 (3 h total, 2 sessions) SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION: Individualized Education & Remedial or Enhanced (Gifted/ 2e) Homeschool Curricula for Special Needs Education, Accommodations needed and children with Support Needs. I am a qualified Social Worker and registered Wellness Counsellor and I offer general Psycho-Social Support to Parents, especially around Neurodiversity (Autism/ ADHD/ SPD, 2e etc.) & Gifted Education. *Please contact me if you prefer an IN PERSON session on a Wednesday, just keep in mind that you have to give me at least one day notice to book the consultation room that I use in Hermanus :) Kind regards, Hanlie
